We had fish and chips with garden peas , our son had fish and chips with garden peas, my daughter had lasagne Verdi, my other daughter had chicken Caesar, my other daughter had burger chips and salad. The fish tasted light and tasty the batter was crispy and soft a well balanced batter. Would highly recommend. All the other meals were all eaten with no moaning. The food was that good that my family wanted dessert, sticky toffee pudding was like eating clouds of loveliness, it was so so enjoyable. The price was excellent for what we paid. The hosts were very friendly, happy jolly and showed that they cared a great deal about their customers, also dog friendly. Would highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed." Show more

We stayed a couple of night with another couple, who have stayed before and recommended the hotel. We were welcomed by Tim the owner, we had a ground floor room just round the corner from the lounge area/restaurant/bar. Perfect as I have a mobility issue. There is a car park for guests too, with on road parking if it's full, NOTE, it,s a one way road.l Room is comfy, very clean and a good sized bathroom and shower with usual amenities. We dined in on the first night, The bar has good beers and spirits, the food was excellent, served hot and warmed plates by so pleasant staff.;We opted for puddings and then followed by drinks. Breakfast is great, with good choices and caters for all tastes. Simply cannot fault the staff, who are so pleasant, fruit juices, fresh coffe, /tea, cereals and then option of a full english or anything in between, finally toast. Tim the owner is a pleasant and welcoming chap and you can chat as with someone you,ve known for ages. It's located just up the road from the Promendade and beach, it's great as it is'nt noisy We now have a venue for future visits. Thank you so much ." Show more

That is why it is at the very top of my list of places we have stayed. Alll the staff are very friendly and well drilled, they go above and beyond at every opportunity. We where made to feel like Royalty and that includes our dog. Tim and Louise, the owners are allways on site and are fully committed to make your stay the best it can be. We will stay again.
